Zack accelerated to reach his success in less than 1.5 years. However, being in the industry for many years helped by picking up experience as well as contacts.
John chow has been successful giving away free tips. He and others recommend to give out useful free tips, save those tips up to then build an eBook to sell to your user base.
Put in affiliate link into your eBook as well for additional revenue.
When showing off your subscriber base on your website, anything under 100 will hurt your reputation, so wait until you have over 100 to then display your stats to the public.
Selling Ad Space:
As a rule of thumb, look up what Google offers first, and don’t sell your Ad space for less than 2x the estimated Google CPM to other Advertisers.
Put up a Banner [Your Ad Here] then link to a page about your pageviews, demographics, contact info, etc. Make it easy for someone to buy Ads from you.
Blog Revenue:
John Chow = Grew $350/mo into $27K/mo in 1 year. ~$37K / mo, before he started publishing.
Jeremy Schoemaker = $120K/mo currently
